National Legal Services Authority (NALSA)
Founded under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, NALSA provides free legal services to economically weaker sections, organizes Lok Adalats for dispute resolution, and raises legal literacy. The Chief Justice of India chairs the Central Authority, overseeing implementation through State and District Authorities.
